Child abuse is the physical or psychological/emotional mistreatment of children. Most child abuse occurs in a child's home, with a smaller amount occuring in the organisations, school or communities the child interacts with. There are four major categories of child abuse: neglect ,physcial abuse, psychological/emotional abuse and child sexual abuse.
Over 80% of children killed or seriously hurt through neglect or abuse were not on England's child protection registers, it has been reported. According to the Guardian only 33 of the 189 children whose death or injury in 2005 to 2009 led to a review were on the registers.
I believe child abuse is bad because it is endangering a child. It may not just be physcial , but it may be verbal and emotional abuse also. this are all bad. Abuse effects the children all thier lives. Click on the video below which identifies child abuse and what people can do to prevent this.
